DATAC is excited to announce the addition of a forum to our website. This new forum is a place to ask questions, as well as share insights and information about the drug and alcohol testing industry in Canada. 

We look forward to creating a community where collectors, breath alcohol technicians, designated employer representatives, supervisors, and substance abuse professionals can all come together to share their experiences, and gained knowledge, with each other. By creating this safe space for the exchange of ideas our members can network and learn from each other’s experiences. Moreover, this forum will allow the public to access the expertise of the professionals working within the drug and alcohol testing industry within Canada. 

If you have any questions about how laboratories work, what your results mean, correct collection procedures, a DOT stipulation or just a crazy story to share, this is the place to do it! Our forum categories are as follows:

General Discussion – talk about anything and everything here, any questions you have that don’t fit into another specific forum, ask them here!

Collector Stories from the Edge – this is a fun forum for anecdotes from any type of collector about strange, interesting or bizarre things which have occurred in their time as a collector.

Legal Questions & the Law – If you have any questions about the legalities involved with testing in Canada, this is the place to post your question.

Training Course Questions – You must be enrolled in a course to access this forum, and the questions relate specifically to the courses that DATAC offers.

U.S. DOT Questions – This is the place to ask questions about the DOT rules and regulations and how they apply to us here in Canada, or how a specific procedure works. 

Members Only – This is a private place for our members to network with each other as well as ask questions and exchange their knowledge.
