We are so excited to be launching our first DATAC Town Hall, and it’s happening today at 2:30 ET! The drug and alcohol testing industry is built on shared knowledge, collaboration, and a commitment to safer workplaces. But with evolving regulations, new testing technologies, and questions that arise in day-to-day practice, having a place to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another matters more than ever. That’s why we’re bringing the industry together, creating a space for questions, conversation, and collaboration.
DATAC’s Town Hall is an open forum to bring together professionals from across the drug and alcohol testing community, including:
- Specimen collectors and collection agencies
- Laboratories and Medical Review Officers (MROs)
- Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
- Designated Employer Representatives (DERs)
- Employers and occupational health professionals
- Consultants, service providers, and industry partners
Whether you’re new to the industry or have years of experience, there’s a place for you in the conversation. Our Town Hall is an opportunity to ask questions, share practical experiences, discuss challenges, and hear insights from people who understand the realities of drug and alcohol testing. Topics may include regulatory requirements, collection procedures, DOT and non-DOT programs, oral fluid and urine testing, alcohol testing, workplace policies, compliance challenges, and emerging developments across the industry.
Building a stronger industry—together
At DATAC, we believe education is only part of the picture. A stronger industry also depends on communication, professional connections, and opportunities to learn from one another. Our goal is to make the Town Hall a welcoming, interactive forum where questions are encouraged, knowledge is shared, and meaningful conversations can continue beyond the meeting itself.
And this is just the beginning! The DATAC Town Hall will take place on the last Thursday of every month, creating a regular opportunity for the drug and alcohol testing community to come together.
Thank you to everyone joining us for this first session. Your participation will help shape the conversations, questions, and future direction of this initiative. Let’s talk, share what we know, and make our industry stronger together.
