Module Progress:
  • Workplace policy should make clear what your parameters are for drug and alcohol testing.
  • What type of testing is done, and at what cutoffs, decides what the “safe” cutoff is for THC.
  • Many employers choose a zero policy as it is the only way to be certain that there is NO impairment.
  • If allowing an amount (say 50 ng/mL in urine) then this would be the employer’s interpretation of a safe level.

If you require help updating your policy, we can help! Click here to find out how.

For more information about how your drug and alcohol policy and Human Resources should accommodate and make clear what you consider safe levels see our Advanced Cannabis course, available Nov. 2018.
