- Workplace policy should make clear what your parameters are for drug and alcohol testing.
- What type of testing is done, and at what cutoffs, decides what the “safe” cutoff is for THC.
- Many employers choose a zero policy as it is the only way to be certain that there is NO impairment.
- If allowing an amount (say 50 ng/mL in urine) then this would be the employer’s interpretation of a safe level.
