The Screening Test Technician (STT) course complies with all the requirements and regulations of the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) and includes training that covers all aspect of alcohol screening. This course covers all policies, regulations, and procedures regarding alcohol screening using both breathalyzers and oral fluid devices.

Initial Proficiency Demonstration (IPD)

This course does require an IPD which involves the trainee performing a number of error-free breathalyzer tests in a mock test environment. This mock test is conducted live via webcam with a DATAC auditor who will observe you perform the mock tests on a donor of your choosing.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a DATAC Screening Test Technician (STT) certificate and an official DATAC collector ID card.
