Due to the low chance of exposure to the virus that children under the age of 18 have, the Denmark bans COVID vaccine.

The Danish government issued a statement in June stating that “hence, it will no longer be feasible for children and young people under the age of 18 to obtain the first jab, and from 1 September 2022 it will no longer be possible to get the second jab.” The statement added high-risk children can be vaccinated after being checked by a doctor.

According to the Danish authorities, many people have received the COVID-19 vaccination and are infected. In Denmark, immunity is still very high. Invitations for people to be vaccinated will no longer be sent out.
